Route Description

Ome Sta.→Enmeiji Temple→Kamanofuchi Park→Kongoji Temple→Ome Sta.

Walk from Ome Station to Kamanofuchi Park along the Tama River while taking in old-fashioned townscape dating to the time when the area flourished as the post station town of Ome-juku, as well as the temples of the Ome Seven Lucky Gods. Lastly, pass by the Kongoji Temple, on whose grounds grows the plum tree that is the source of Ome City’s name, and return to where you started via the avenue in front of Ome Station.
