Machida City [Highlight]
Onda River Promenade

Minami-Naruse and Naruse area/Promenade along the Onda River and traces of Naruse

Route Description

Naruse Station→Donosaka Park→General gymnasium→Onda River Promenade→Naruse Benten-bashi Park→The ruins of Naruse-jo Castle→Naruse Station

The residential area that was developed in the hilly area has lost much of the atmosphere of the countryside, but the traces of Naruse-jo Castle, a small shrine for Benzaiten (goddess of wealth, music, eloquence and water), etc. help you imagine the old Naruse.
The row of cherry trees along the Onda River is one of the best spots for cherry blossom viewing in the city, and the general gymnasium is used as a main arena of the futsal league (F. League) team “Pescadola Machida.”

* These are estimates given for a person, weight 60kg, moving at 4km per hour, walking 10 min.=30kcal, one step=70cm.
