Characteristics of Sphyrion
Size | Body lengths of females are 38-60 mm or so. Males have body lengths of about 2 mm and attach to females. |

Parasitize targets | Sinks the large hammer-shaped projection from the cephalothorax into the fish body, with the rear part of the body exposed out of the fish body. |
