Characteristics of Rhadinorhynchus

Color

Reddish orange

Size

Body length of 2-3 cm.  Body width of 2-3 mm or so.

Parasitize targets

Parasitizing visceral organs.

Characteristics

Cylindrical or spindle-shaped body with a proboscis at the body end used to attach to intestinal canal of fish.

Impacts on human

It does not parasitize human beings.

Major seafood hosts

Pacific saury, skipjack, mackerel, yellowtail
