Glory lily (Liliaceae)

In recent years it has become cultivated in ordinary households. In the wild, it blooms from early summer to late autumn.


Characteristics

Habitat Extends through the tropical area of Africa and Asia.
Parts of the plant that may be ingested accidentally. bulbs. bulbs can be mistaken for Japanese yam. There was a case(s) of death after ingestion.
Symptoms Fever, vomiting, diarrhea, back pain, etc. Can be fatal.
Venomous constituents Colchicine. Whole plant is poisonous.
