Zephyranthes candida (Amaryllidaceae)

Naturalized plant originating in South America, mainly for garden use, but partially growing wild. Evergreen perennial plant growing a white flower in the summer. It has round scaly bulbs in the ground.

Characteristics

Habitat	For garden use. Partially growing wild.
Parts of the plant that may be ingested accidentally.	Leaves, scaly bulbs. Its leaves may be mistaken for leek and scaly bulbs part for wild rocambole.
Symptoms	Vomiting, cramps, etc.
Venomous constituents	Alkaloid called lycorine.
